iOptima is an Israeli health tech company with a focus on treating glaucoma with a CO2 laser.
Aim: To penetrate and exit the Chinese market.
Process: We identified investors who have proven investing experience in ophthalmology and treating glaucoma.
We conducted roadshows for iOptima over the years. Initially, we helped them successfully establish a Chinese entity with financial investors. We then helped raise funds during several rounds of funding.
Results: After the company obtained its CFDA approval with investor support, we successfully helped sell the company to Kanghong Pharma, a public pharmaceutical Chinese company with a focus on ophthalmology.
The company has experienced tremendous growth after the acquisition.
